ProfileI am a lecturer in English at Fukuoka University with over 20 years of English language teaching experience in Japan, including 17 years in higher education. My research interests include L2 visual word recognition and lexical decision, vocabulary learning, and technology-supported language teaching. My work has examined orthotactic familiarity in second-language word recognition as well as practical classroom applications of digital tools for vocabulary learning and speaking practice. I have published peer-reviewed research articles and practitioner-oriented work, presented at international conferences, contributed to TOEIC Bridge teaching materials, and authored a graded reader. I also undertake editorial work for applied linguistics journals.
